This painting was inspired by the month of April. I often overlook this month because of all the rain we experience in the UK. However, I wanted to really focus on the beauty of the rain and pair this with a colourful spring pallette. To me, water represents purity and peace, and in this painting, the raindrops almost look like lace, adorning the little mushroom. Mushrooms often represent life cycles, which inspired me to title this painting 'Rebirth'. The growth of new life and the cleansing nature of water in this composition serve to create a rejuvenating atmosphere in your home.
